20 Years of Bold Design
Principal and Designer, Heidi Salo brings over 20 years of expertise in the exhibition and events industry. As the founder of Salo Design, she has built a reputation as a visionary in designing exhibits, showrooms, corporate and retail environments, and immersive event experiences. A graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Interior Architecture, Heidi’s work has been widely published and honored with numerous Best of Show awards.
Heidi also designed and implemented an exhibit design course at Ohio University, where she built the curriculum from the ground up to give Interior Architecture students hands-on, industry-relevant experience.
She remains at the forefront of innovation by actively engaging in trade shows and design conferences throughout the year. Heidi thrives on the creative and logistical challenges each project brings — from floating boat exhibits and global trade shows to corporate interiors and branded activations.
With a dynamic portfolio and a deep understanding of client goals, Heidi transforms complex ideas into bold, marketable, and award-winning designs that elevate brands and create lasting impressions.
